Ian and Lucy are getting closer on PORT CHARLES, and Thorsten Kaye (Ian) couldn't be happier.  "I love working with Lynn (Herring, Lucy)," raves the actor. "I get a kick out of her as a person, and I think she's a wonderful actor.  So, if [the writers] can write a love story that's interesting to watch, then I would love to stay with her. If they can't, then it wouldn't be fair to keep anyone together."

Kevin's surprise return means this triangle is about to heat up. "[Kevin and Lucy] are what you call a supercouple because [their portrayers] have worked together for so long," Kaye acknowledges.  "But sometimes, it's time for a change."

He recognizes that not all fans may be keen for this change because Ian came between Kevin and Lucy once before. Still, Kaye points out, "You can't steal somebody's wife. You can only be with someone's wife if she wants to be with you."

And maybe it's time for Lucy to find another soulmate: "Lucy outgrew her present soulmate, Kevin, and it takes two for that."  With Kevin's personality changing by the day, that's going to be a factor in the next path that Lucy heads down.
