Reel-Life Romance:  Marty was engaged to Dylan in 1995 when she was swept off her feet by Patrick, played by Kaye.  Before he was killed, Patrick and Marty married and had a son, Cole.

Real-Life Romance:  The actors quietly became involved  off-camera and were a couple by the time they left OLTL in 1997 (she returned full-time 11 years later).  

After 12 years, they're still going strong and have two daughters, McKenna (born in 2003) and Marlowe (born in 2007).  

Neither makes a habit of publicly discussing their relationship.  As Haskell told Digest in 2000, "Something that special and important, you should keep to yourself."
