B&B's Thorsten Kaye (Ridge) hits theaters and VOD this week in the independent horror film Animal but warns viewers, "It's not really a horror movie. It's more of a creature movie. It's Drew Barrymore's company and they called and said ,'Would you be interested in doing something like that?' and it was [filming] right up the road from me in Connecticut."
As for the story, "There are two different groups of hikers in the woods, it starts getting late and all of a sudden some funky creature starts chasing them and they end up in this house together -- and this creature has a taste for people," Kaye teases. "You've got the younger generation and the older generation and for some reason, they put me in the older generation [laughs]. Joey Lauren Adams plays my wife. She's a cool girl. There's something really great about spending a few weeks together as actors when the ego is left at the door because you've got to roll through the mud and stay in the tent -- and the product is going to be good because of that."
The flick also hits Chiller TV later this month. Check local listings for times.
