Thorsten Kaye (Ridge, B&B) had a very memorable stage debut, playing the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. "I still know the lines from it," the actor grins. "I don't know why they cast me. That's a director question, but I'm glad because it made me think that there might be a way to make a living and have fun and not work so hard. It was in high school, and I loved it. I made a lot of little kids cry, so that was fun."
Kaye jokes that he still taps into the role to this day. "At my daughter's school, they had a haunted house and they said, 'Do you want to be in it?' So, I put on a mask -- and there's something about looking scary that feels really great. I made a lot of kids scream in the haunted house. Maybe I am a decent actor, after all [laughs]?"
