Prior to taking on B&B's Ridge, Thorsten Kaye (Ridge) worked with Michelle Stafford (ex-Phyllis, Y&R) on her new hit web series, THE STAFFORD PROJECT. "I had never worked with her before, but I've always admired her," notes Kaye. "It sounds like she's an artist or a brain surgeon [laughs], but I always thought that she was an interesting actor to watch. She made fun choices, but they were always based in reality, which is not always the case. So, when she called me about this thing, I was intrigued. First of all, hats off to someone who walks away from a big job [on Y&R] and says, 'I'm going to do something else.' She's a single mother, so my hat is off to her. They really pulled this together. It was written well. It's all based on her life -- that's really trippy! She is lovely, and she did a lovely job with it, too. And if you haven't seen our episode yet, the ending is just the best!"
