Happy Days Ahead For Ian and Eve?

Soaps In Depth

Published July 24, 2001

This week on PORT CHARLES, Ian and Eve begin their lives as a married couple.  But can the honeymoon last, especially considering their lack of success in their past lives together?

"The problem with happy is that it's not fun to watch," Ian's portrayer, Thorsten Kaye, suggests.  It's THE WALTONS without the young guys going off to war."

Still, the intimate ceremony, performed by Father Michael, indeed did get the new family off to the right start, at least.  But where do they go from here?

"Hopefully, they'll get back to being doctors and dealing with patients," Kaye ventures.  "They can still enjoy each other without looking at each other and touching one another for 10 scenes."
