Kaye in gym shorts? Yes, please1

It's often been reported that Thorsten Kaye (Ridge) majored in Physical Education in college, so how would he have cut it as a high school gym teacher? "I think I would have been brilliant," boasts the actor with a laugh, before adding, "no -- it wasn't really like that." Kaye explains that he never really intended to make phys ed a career choice.

"It was always my favorite class in school, but honestly, I only took a few classes. [in college]", he says. "I always loved sports, and I knew I was only getting slower and fatter, so I thought the only way to really stay with sports would be to start coaching." Lucky for soap fans, Kaye ultimately chose to pursue acting instead. But what we wouldn't give to have him on our team in a game of dodgeball!
