Born in Germany and raised in London before coming to the United States at the age of 19 to attend college, Thorsten Kaye (Ridge) admits that people are sometimes at a loss to place his particular accent. "I don't really think I have an accent, but some people will hear me and instantly say, 'Oh, where are you from?'" Kaye says with a chuckle.
"People are always asking me where I'm from, and I don't even
know anymore," he says. "I've always gone to American schools in
different countries, so I don't know what the accent is now. If it
seems neutral, then that's my goal."
