Is Zendall Really Over?

STATUS: It was hard to miss Zach and Kendall's comments about hoping to have the big wedding they've always dreamed of during the 40th anniversary special. Was it a hint that the pair will soon return for some big, soapy, nuptials?
The In Depth Story: Pine Valley is known for some great weddings, which was made pretty clear in the WAVE espisode about the town. Considering there's nothing that would make Zendall fans happier than seeing the show's smokin'-hot supercouple come back for a special episode in which they tie the knot, it might not be a bad idea for the show to make it happen! But is it possible? Kendall's portrayer, Alicia Minshew, is out on maternity leave for an undisclosed amount of time, but she could come back soon, either permanently or at least for some special episodes.
Thorsten Kaye (ex-Zach), on the other hand, parted ways with AMC just before its move to L.A. But while he's no longer on contract with the show, there's nothing stopping him from hopping on a plane for a quick visit (and taping) at AMC's new digs! But don't toss that rice just yet;' a show rep says at this time they aren't any plans for the actors to return for a wedding.
