One Life To
Live
PATRICK THORNHART
"Over the course of his tempestuous two years in Llanview,
Patrick
Thornhart proved
himself to be the ultimate romantic hero - passionate, wounded, and
sincere.
A latter day Heathcliff, this brooding Irish poet cherished midnight
picnics under
the stars with the woman he loved, and restful evenings curled up
before a fire of
smoldering peat with his beloved Margaret nestled safely in his arms."

PATRICK
AND MARTY MAKE LOVE ON THE ISLE OF INISHCRAG
Marty:
Tomorrow I leave and we'll never see each other again. Time will
pass until it's like it never happened at all, like we never met.
Patrick: Maybe we can make time stop.
Marty: Just for tonight.

MARTY IS STARTLED WHEN AN IRISH STRANGER - PATRICK THORNHART
- SUDDENLY KISSES HER AT THE WILD SWAN INN
Patrick: I'm sorry, miss, I
know I surprised you. Marty: Surprised me! If you don't let me go…
Patrick: Please, miss, it's a matter of life and death. We've got to
pretend we're lovers!

LOVE, LLANVIEW STYLE
"An old Celtic fairy tale brought these eternal lovers together under a
full Irish moon. Patrick and Marty shared more than a bed on the night
they made love on the isle of Inishcrag. When their bodies touched, so
did their souls."

KISS
AND TELL
Thorsten
Kaye
(Patrick Thornhart)
"In my screen test, I walked in and learned I had to do a kissing
scene. Susan Haskell walked up to me and said, 'I just want to tell you
that there'll be no tongues.' I thought, Great, because that's what I
wanted to do, tongue everybody and go home. It was very awkward; but I
like to tease her about it now."

BLAIR AND PATRICK
In the wake of Marty's marriage to Dylan, Patrick fled the church with
the dangerously sexy Blair Manning. Blaming Marty for her husband
Todd's apparent death, a vengeful Blair wanted nothing more than to
seduce Patrick, then flaunt the fact in Marty's face. Patrick resisted
Blair's seductive efforts at first, but finally gave in and shared two
nights of passion with her. The repercussions ran deep. Unbeknownst to
the couple, Blair's 'late' husband had returned to Llanview in time to
see his wife in the Irishman's arms.

MARGARET "MARTY" SAYBROOKE
"Her habit for hitting the bottle and telling tall tales were turn-offs
to the townsfolk of Llanview, serving to further isolate this full-time
wild child. A series of personal horrors and tragedies led Marty to
grow as an individual. Once she learned to confront her fears and love
herself, Marty was finally able to shower affection on those dear to
her. No one came to appreciate Marty more than her only true love,
Patrick."

"When
the police discovered that Alex Olanov killed Carlo Hesser, they
tracked the diabolical murderess down at an abandoned beauty salon
where she was holding Andy Harrison at gunpoint. ...Antonio Vega
slipped in through a back entrance and captured Alex. Amazingly, the
cunning Alex...walked away...with little more than a slap on the wrist!"

"Knowing that he was being framed for a crime he did
not commit, Patrick Thornhart unleashed his anger upon Todd Manning.
Fortunately,
Mel Hayes intervened to stop Patrick from killing his bitter
enemy."

Their friends breathed sighs of relief when Patrick
and Marty married without a hitch. But joy suddenly turned to terror
when chaos erupted at the reception. Terrorists attacked before the
couple could cut the wedding cake.
- 1997 -
"Everyone believed
that Patrick Thornhart
died when he was
shot by terrorists
soon after his
marriage to Marty.
Miraculously,
the Irishman survived,
and slipped out of
town to lead a life on
the
run
with
his ladylove."
