As
strong as the love is between ALL MY CHILDREN's Zach and Kendall, it has
a stiff competitor in their tendencies to hide things from each other in
times of turmoil. We saw this most recently in their separate plans to
take down Greenlee. Can the popular couple keep doing what they're doing
without it eventually tearing them apart? "It's almost like a classic Scarlett
and Rhett," says AMC's executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers. "They
just belong together, and yet there are so many reasons they belong apart!"
She adds that the pair's popularity is because of, not in spite of, their
foibles. "The audience gets to see inside all the vulnerabilities that
these two characters have, which make them so similar at the same time
that they seem so opposite," she says, assuring fans, "I think they're
one of the legacy couples in the years to come on AMC." |
