Hey, we call it like we see it here at Soaps In Depth, and the way we saw ABC's 1997-2003 GENERAL HOSPITAL spinoff, PORT CHARLES, it sucked, ironically, right up until Michael Easton (now ONE LIFE TO LIVE sourpuss John) was brought on as Caleb, a latter-day Lestat obsesed with his late wife's look-alike, Livvie (Kelly Monoca, now GH Mob moll Sam). But, even though the show started giving viewers more fang for their buck, it was before its time. Today, though? Oh no, now the time is exactly right for PC to rise from the grave. The Twilight Saga is the cineplex's biggest creature feature, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is a scream on the telly, and you can't turn on the radio without hearing Lady Gaga singing "Show me your teeth!" (on her new The Fame Monster album). Even just using The Twilight Saga for comparison, it's obvious that PC had -- and could again have -- what it takes to succeed with 2010's bloodthirsty audience. Turn the page and see if you disagree. (Hint: You can't disagree. We're so right, it isn't even funny.)
